BEHIND THE LENS
AND THE JOURNEY AHEAD
I've always had a passion for discovering aspects of the world around us previously unknown to myself and others. Growing up in a family of four that thoroughly enjoyed the mountain wilderness, I was predisposed to the adventurous lifestyle. As a child, I was fishing the rivers with my mother, hiking the goat trails with my father, or discovering the Jeep trails of yesteryear with my brother. After attending the University of Colorado at Boulder, my drive to capture the essence of life, culture, and the world around us was heightened.
Today, I travel with two missions; to immerse audiences around the globe into the worlds of my imagination through film and prose, and to travel to every country and continent in order to compile a book of experiences in each place. This book, titled The Blue Marble, aims to connect humanity through real stories under a singular sleeve.

FAMILY
My favorite part of being a filmmaker and photographer is the family of wonderful people I have the pleasure to meet and work with. Each person, from mining superintendents to cast and crew, becomes part of my extended family of friends and respected colleagues. Without this group of incredible people, the work I do would be meaningless. At its core, the cinematic and photographic art forms rely on socialization and kinship. I, for one, enjoy that aspect more than anything. Through travel, photography, commercial production, and filmmaking, I meet an incredibly diverse pool of individuals. Together, we are able to journey into that unknown and share an experience.
